Institute for Biomedical Research and Development (ICDDB) is a scientific structure of the “Petre Andrei” University of Iasi, established by decision of the Senate.
Mission:
The mission of IBRD is to promote interdisciplinary scientific research in the biomedical field through the conduct of fundamental and applied research, the development of innovative solutions supporting public health, and the fostering of collaboration among the life sciences, medicine, and technology, actively contributing to the improvement of diagnosis, treatment, and disease prevention, through an integrated and holistic approach, in full compliance with the highest ethical standards and principles of social responsibility in scientific research.
- supporting innovation by developing research projects in collaboration with national and international institutions;
- organization of postgraduate courses and continuing vocational training;
- facilitating knowledge exchange through conferences, workshops and other scientific events;
- publication and dissemination of studies and scientific papers relevant to the biomedical field.
